Teacher Dorothea
Teacher Dorothea graduated with a Bachelor of Arts (Sociology) with University at Buffalo. Over the years, she has had experience teaching primary school students English and Mathematics for six months. She also worked as a facilitator and mentor with Halogen Foundation Singapore's programmes for youths.
Teacher Dorothea's love for English and words has led her to be part of the founding team of a girls magazine eight years ago. Being part of the editorial team all these years has allowed her to grow her love for the English language and cemented her belief that stories can shape and inspire people.
Teacher Dorothea's passion for children has brought her on several mission trips in South East Asia to run children programmes and camps. She firmly believes that every child is unique and has potential within to grow and flourish at his or her own pace. She desires to achieve that with every child that comes under her tutelage.
To Teacher Dorothea, an ideal day looks like spending unhurried time with her husband and newborn daughter, seeking out new cafes and reading a good novel with a hot cuppa.

FUN FACT: Teacher Dorothea used to detest running when she was in primary school. She eventually grew to love it and even completed a half-marathon! To her, running is therapeutic and an effective stress-reliever.
